Hannah is a Grad student at Indiana University of Pa and will be presenting her ongoing research and archaeological investigation on her site located near Blairsville, Indiana County..
Hawk Mountain Chapter 31 meets at the Hamburg Municipal Building, 61 N. 3rd St., Hamburg PA on the first Monday of each month.
Anyone may become a member upon application and payment or stipulated dues. The only other requirement shall be an honest interest in archaeology.
As a member, you are invited to attend all monthly meetings of the chapter. Programs including site reports, illustrated talks roundtable discussions and paper are presented, which are usually interesting and entertaining, announcements are mailed to all members, outlining each program.
You are privileged to receive benefit of services offered by the Educational Committee, which includes educational meetings in addition to regular meetings, fundamental instruction in method and theory of archaeology and educational papers.
You are entitled to engage in fieldwork and research in the area. Through this group, you will have an excellent opportunity to participate actively in surveys, excavation and other sincere amateurs, who are striving to learn more about archaeology.
